About
My name is Lynn Holbrook-Sutcliffe
I'm an Artist and tutor, living and working in Deal, Kent. After decades of teaching art and design in Universities, colleges and secondary schools, I decided I wanted to create a relaxed and purposeful environment where students felt free to enjoy the process of creating art whilst exploring their artistic potential and most importantly I wanted students to feel the joy in making art. I set up The Drawing Rooms of Deal in 2012 with a handful of students at the kitchen table. It wasn't long before we outgrew that space and we now have 2 weekly adult classes and a variety of process based workshops running at wonderful venues throughout Kent.
All levels of ability are welcome, we have a large number of students who have not practised art since school as well as established artists looking to relaunch and find inspiration.
